A Moment of Boredom

In all honesty, the only reason for this post is because I'm bored right now, so you are going to get a barrage of photographs and lame stories that accompany them. Sorry! This is our latest picture of Lizzy. I still haven't gotten a good picture of her smiling yet. I'm not the kind of mom that constantly has her camera in her kids faces. I totally understand why some moms are like that, but I'll let you all in on a little secret: those moms annoy me! Only because they like to overtake the lives of everybody around them just so they can get the perfect picture of THEIR kids. I should get over it... I'm working on it. I suppose the fault is mine; I should be more like these moms that bug. I will be sad one day when I realize I don't have enough cute pictures of my kids.

Logan doesn't talk a whole lot, but one thing he will talk about is his friend Coleman. James and I think it's really cute, so we had to get a picture of them together. I'm sure when Coleman is old enough he will realize what a clingy, annoying friend Logan really is. I'm pretty sure the love affair is one sided. When Coleman comes over to play, it is Logan following Coleman around constantly.

I did this sign for James for Valentines day. A few weeks before Valentines day he told me that I don't spontaneously tell him I love him enough. I always say it several times a day, but only at the appropriate times, like when we get off the phone, when he leaves for work, and... well, you know when else. :) Anyway, I decided to be spontaneous, so I told the world that I love James! (The sign is on our garage door if you couldn't tell.)

Ok, after yesterdays warm weather, I decided that I am, for sure, a cold weather type of person. Both warm and cold weather have their downsides, but I think on the whole, I prefer winter. About the only thing I don't like about it is that I don't get the reprieve of having Logan out of the house, but as this picture proves, sometimes he will play outside even in the cold!

James had the ladder out one day but when he walked away from it, Logan went up it in a flash! He is a true climber. A few times I've heard Logan whimpering in the house but it took me a while to find him. He was in the laundry room with the door shut. He figured out that opening the dryer door gives him the perfect stepping stool to get on top of the washer and dryer. He's just not bright enough to figure out how to get down.

Ok, I think I just killed 20 minutes. I hope you enjoyed the small glimpse into my strange mind (and life).
